Account Executive

***Location: This is a remote position for those based in Tulsa, OK or willing to relocate to Tulsa, OK.***

Founded in 2017 and based out of Philadelphia, our company is on a mission to help people get access to quality news and information. We sell our products to organizations that need the news to be successful. We work with over 100 companies who have thousands of employees looking to use our product. Our company is founded by former media, finance, and technology executives who have worked at places like HuffPost, CNN, BNY Mellon, Hearst, NYTimes, Google, and iHeartRadio. 

About the Role

The AE will be primarily focused on closing qualified new business opportunities with our company. You will be instrumental in growing our company from $1M to $10M a year in revenue, working closely with the Sales Development Representatives and VP of Sales.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare and coordinate product proposals and related sales documents
  • Work closely with the customer to understand requirements
  • Research and Identify target prospects and execute outreach campaigns
  • Generate and maintain a consistent and sustainable pipeline of opportunities and negotiate those deals through the sales cycle to close
  • Achieve individual revenue goals/quota on a consistent monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Products, etc.) to execute sales strategy
  • Work closely with the management and advisor team to analyze sales and financial metrics

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of SaaS sales experience with a record of meeting aggressive quotas
  • BS degree or equivalent
  • Ability to “run point” and manage through a process
  • Solid stakeholder management skills, both internal and external
  • Strong and timely communication skills
  • Ability to manage across functions and present to leadership
  • Positivity, consistent energy, and the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Track record of sales and revenue generation success
  • Up to 25% travel required
