Sales Development Representative

***Location: This is a remote position for those based in Tulsa, OK or willing to relocate to Tulsa, OK.***

We sell our products to organizations that need the news to be successful. We work with over 100 companies who have thousands of employees looking to use our product. Our company is founded by former media, finance, and technology executives who have worked at places like HuffPost, CNN, BNY Mellon, Hearst, NYTimes, Google, and iHeartRadio. 

About the Role

The Sales Development Representative will be primarily focused on researching target prospects and performing outreach through emails, and phone calls. Due to the nature of this role, SDR candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills across a variety of channels (email, phone, video calls, etc.). As a front-line representative, this individual will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects. This individual will work across the sales team to support the acquisition of new accounts and to map out the workload for the weak.

You should be fearless – willing to hop on the phone with new people every single day and explain the company’s value proposition as it relates to each individual you speak with.

What you’ll do

  • Work together with the Account Executives to grow sales leads
  • Identify key players by researching and obtaining business requirements
  • Set appointments for sales manager when a lead reaches a qualified stage
  • Cold call into prospects generated by a variety of outside sources
  • Drive attendance for demos


  • 1-3 years quote-carrying sales experience
  • Interest in building a successful technology sales career
